The Mama Clothing story originally began with one mama’s passion for breastfeeding. 2021 has turned the page to two Melbourne mamas and their equally passionate desire to help mums all around Australia, and worldwide, succeed on their breastfeeding journey, however brief or extended.
Hi there, we’re Liz and Wendy.
Friends since high school, we’ve celebrated most of life’s milestones together. Shortly after Liz bought her first home, we celebrated our 21st birthday together. Wendy spent several years overseas competing as a professional ballroom dancer, where she met her now husband. We even travelled around the world for each other’s weddings.
Now, we are a *little* older, we’ve continued our friendship through the wild ride of pregnancy, breastfeeding and beyond. Wendy has a two-year-old boy, and Liz has a four-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy.
‘It takes a village’, a cliché, yes, but also so true! We know how important it is to have support through these joyous but challenging times. So, this is our way of supporting all the lovely mamas out there! Through functional and stylish breastfeeding clothes that don’t break the bank, we got you mama!
